Harborough Mum ‘Strikes’ For Reality TV Show

A Market Harborough Mum has gone on strike in a reality TV show to be screened this weekend.

Sam Hunt walked out for a week leaving her husband and teenage daughters to fend for themselves and run the house without her.

Filming took place last year after Sam was contacted by the makers of Channel 5’s ‘Mums On Strike’ when they spotted her joke social media posts about being taken for granted.

She says her husband Gary is not the problem, but the pair often found themselves cleaning up after their three daughters Gracie, Oonagh, and Caoimhe.

Sam and Gary, who are both former police officers and also have a son who lives away, now jointly run a storage company alongside leading a busy family life.

Cameras follow what happened in the house during Sam’s absence and she told HFM her departure came as a shock to her daughters:
