Go-Ahead For Harborough School’s Solar Project

The go-ahead has been given for over 400 solar panels to be installed on roofs at Robert Smyth Academy.
The project is part of wider plans to make to the Market Harborough secondary school more energy-efficient and will provide power for around a third of its yearly electricity usage.
Harborough District Council has granted planning permission for 420 panels to installed on buildings at the site on Burnmill Road.
