A religious festival for members of the gipsy and traveller community has got underway at Market Harborough Showground.
Over 3,000 people are attending the five-day Light and Life Christian convention, which has returned to the venue for a second year.

The festival-goers arrived in around 1,000 caravans on Saturday and a giant marquee was erected which will host events.
John Boyd is one of the organisers and told HFM it is a packed programme:

Harborough District Council has held meetings with businesses in the run-up to the event after authorities were criticised last year for not giving them enough notice to put plans in place, to cope with the potential of extra customers.
Police and councils also put plans in place.
