Kibworth Fundraiser To Return To Uganda

A fundraiser from Kibworth is heading back to Uganda next week to visit a junior school he helped to rebuild.

Roger Piper’s connections with the ‘Friends of Aids Care Education and Training’ charity go back over 20 years, when he was initially involved in raising cash to combat HIV and AIDS in the East African country.

In more recent years, UK efforts have concentrated on financially supporting just Nakulabye Junior School, after it was moved out of a slum area of Kampala.
