Prison Drug Drop Ringleader Gaoled

The ringleader of a drug-dealing gang who used drones to drop contraband into Gartree Prison is now behind bars.

Before sentencing on Monday (8th July), the court heard how Lucy Adcock had organised 22 drops a month across six UK gaols, including Market Harborough, until she was identified and apprehended by Welsh Police.

The 47-year-old mum – who it’s estimated had smuggled in over one million pounds-worth of drugs and ‘phones before being caught – admitted to all the offences.

Adcock must now spend six years in prison, whilst two accomplices were gaoled for four years apiece.
