Harborough Jazz Afternoons Hit The Right Note

Jazz afternoons at a Market Harborough pub are going from strength to strength.

Bluehouse Jazz has been running at the Beer House on the first Sunday of the month since January 2022.

It is attracting good audiences and has encouraged many local musicians to get into jazz including teenagers, as well as seeing performances from some of the best jazz musicians in the Midlands.

Lee Boyd-Allatson is a member of the house-band Fourmasons and is one of those who first suggested the idea.

This month’s Bluehouse Jazz event, which is on Sunday at 3pm, is the seasonal ‘Singers Special’.
