Election Candidates Quizzed At Hustings In Market Harborough

Over 100 people turned out to hear from Harborough’s General Election candidates last night.
The hustings event was held at the Methodist Church, having been organised by Churches Together In Harborough.

All six candidates hoping to become the next Member of Parliament for the Harborough, Oadby and Wigston constituency were in attendance -Danuta Jeeves (Reform UK), Phil Knowles (Liberal Democrats), Robin Lambert (Social Democratic Party), Neil O’Brien (Conservative), Hajira Piranie (Labour) and Darren Woodiwiss (Green Party)
Reverend Andy Murphy was the moderator at the event, which saw members of the audience asked questions on both national and local issues, as they decide who to vote for on July 4th.
