‘Wanted’ Man Arrested After Sparking Police Search In Market Harborough

A ‘wanted’ man who prompted a major Police search when he fled from a house in Market Harborough has been arrested.

Officers descended on the Stuart Road area of the Southern Estate yesterday morning and launched a drone in a bid to locate him, but were unsuccessful.

The man has now been detained and Leicestershire Police say he will appear before Magistrates’ at the earliest opportunity.

He was wanted on warrant for failing to appear in court and in relation to another matter.
