Sainsbury’s Urged To Deal With ‘Atrocious’ State Of Car Park

Pressure is mounting on Sainsbury’s to deal with potholes and other defects in the car park of its store in Market Harborough.
It is three months since the firm said it would make improvements, but to date nothing has been done.

Customers are continuing to complain about the poor condition of the car park off Springfield Street, which also serves the Springfield Retail Park.
Harborough District Council, which manages the car park, is also pushing for Sainsbury’s to act.
These shoppers spoke to HFM:

A Sainsbury’s spokesperson told HFM: “We’re in the process of getting the improvements works under way as soon as possible and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused in the meantime.
“We’ll keep our customers updated. ”
A spokesperson for Harborough District Council said: “We have contacted Sainsbury’s again this morning and are waiting for them to confirm a start date for the car park works.”
