Search Continues For Harborough Pensioner’s Beloved Pet Dog

A Market Harborough pensioner has thanked people in Cornwall as a search continues for her beloved pet dog which ran off during a holiday.

Ozzie, a five-year-old terrier cross, escaped when Ingrid Cooke arrived at a caravan park on the Lizard peninsula on May 10th.

She spent the whole of the holiday trying to find him, but had to head home empty-handed.

The Cornish community has rallied round to help look for Ozzie and there have been numerous sightings, including one this morning, but so far he has evaded capture.

Drones have also been launched, search dogs deployed and a dedicated Facebook page set-up, so people can post information.

Volunteers have also been distributing posters across the area.

Ingrid has been left devastated as she lives alone with Ozzie and told HFM she is so grateful for everyone’s support:
