Landlord Repossesses Former Wildwood Restaurant

The former Wildwood Restaurant in Market Harborough has been repossessed by the landlord of the premises.
The eatery on the High Street shut suddenly last month when the chain announced 18 closures nationwide and fixtures and fittings remain inside.
A notice states the lease has also been terminated and says: “The landlord has re-entered 9 High Street in accordance with the landlords power under clause 37 of the lease.
“As a consequence of the re-entry, the lease is forfeited and the premises secured.”
Wildwood closed its doors in Market Harborough last month
It goes onto to say no-one can lawfully enter the premises unless they have been given authorisation by the landlord and any attempt to maybe a criminal offence and result in prosecution.
Wildwood’s parent company Tasty blamed ‘difficult trading conditions’ for the decision to close the restaurants.
Tasty has been approached for comment.
