New Group To Give Residents Better Voice As Desborough Grows

A new group will launch in Desborough tomorrow in a bid to forge links between the community and developers as the town continues to grow.
Around 1,800 further new homes are planned and the Desborough Developers Working Party – or DDWP – wants to ensure residents’ voices are heard.
The town has seen rapid growth in the past 10 years, with the last 2021 census showing more than 11,910 people live in Desborough, with the population projected to exceed 15,000 by 2031.
The first public meeting of DDWP will take place on Wednesday evening at the town’s Heritage Centre in Station Road at 7.30pm.
