Burglars Target Homes While Occupants Asleep

Burglars targeted two houses in Desborough while the occupants were asleep.

They broke into homes in Leys Avenue and Ise Vale Avenue sometime between midnight and 6.30am yesterday.

On both occasions the intruders forced entry via the rear of the houses.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area between the stated times including CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage of people or vehicles who looked out of place.

“Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

“Please quote incident number 24000041138/24000041223 when providing any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.”
