Man Arrested After Luxury Car Stolen In Desborough

Police have arrested a man after a luxury car was stolen from outside a house in Desborough early this morning.
The white Mercedes GLC was located by officers within an hour of it being taken from Wedgwood Close at around 5am.
The SUV was found 20 miles away in the village of Yelvertoft in South Northamptonshire and a 38-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, remains in custody.
Police have launched an appeal for information about the theft.
They are keen to hear from anyone who saw suspicious people loitering in the area of Wedgwood Close, on the Viridian Meadows off Harrington Road, at the time the car was stolen.
