Apology As Road Remains Closed After Water Leak

Severn Trent Water have apologised to drivers that a section of road in Little Bowden remains closed nearly a week after a burst water main was repaired.
The firm says reinstatement of the road surface on Scotland Road has been delayed, although it’s hoped the stretch between Rectory Lane and Bellfield Lane will re-open within the next few days.
A Severn Trent spokesperson told HFM: “We would like to apologise that Scotland Road remains closed. While we’ve repaired the burst, we needed to liaise with another utility company before we could complete the job. The good news is that we’re now in a position to be able to reinstate the road.
“We’ll get everything back to normal as quickly as possible and would like to thank everyone for their patience while we completed this repair.”
