Traders’ Group Welcomes Free Parking Annoucement

The announcement there will be free parking in Market Harborough on four Saturdays in December is being welcomed.
Harborough District Council will waive charges in its town centre car parks and in Lutterworth on those days in the run-up to Christmas, to encourage people to shop in the town centre and save them money.
Shoppers able to park for up to four hours in short stay car parks, and all day in long stay ones for no charge.
Such initiatives have been held previously, but not for the past three years.
