Harborough’s Foodbank Hosting Awareness Event Tomorrow

The Jubilee Foodbank in Market Harborough is holding its first awareness event tomorrow in a bid to help more people.

The charity has seen an increase in demand in recent months due to the cost of living, but thinks some members of the community in need are yet to seek support, particularly the elderly.

Volunteers will be at the St Dionysius Community Hall on Coventry Road between 10am and noon to explain the process of getting a food parcel and will also have food available for those in immediate need.
