Grants Totalling Over £400k Boost Community Projects Across Harborough

Grants totalling over £400,000 will help boost community facilities across Harborough.
They have been awarded by the District Council using money provided by housing developers.

The project to create a new community hub at Kibworth Grammar School Hall, including relocating the village library there, has been boosted by just under £264,000, while Kibworth Scouts and Guides have been handed £60,000 towards expanding and improving their HQ on Fleckney Road.
North Kilworth Parish Council has been awarded just under £32,000 to improve the Millennium Green in the village and over £65,000 will help refurbish and extend the Memorial Hall in Ullesthorpe.
The money is provided to the council by housing developers via the ‘Section 106’ scheme, to improve community facilities in areas where they have built.
