Damage Totalling Thousands Caused At Church In Clipston

Burglars have caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to the Baptist Chapel in Clipston.
They smashed several windows after forcing their way into the Christian Life Church on Chapel Lane through a back door.
Police say a metal pole was used to smash the windows and graffiti was also daubed on a table.
Officers say the only thing stolen were packets of biscuits.

The burglary happened sometime between last Tuesday and Saturday and there is an appeal for witnesses.
A spokesperson for Northants Police said: “There was a suspicious circumstance’s incident a few days before where two young males (aged around 13 – 15) came into the Church, and said they were interested in how to join the Church.
“If you have any information in relation to this please, ring 101 and quote incident number 23000535084.”
