BMW Freestyler’s Hopes Of Olympic Place Boosted After First International Win

A talented BMX rider from Market Harborough is celebrating winning his first international competition as he pushes for a place in the Team GB squad at next year’s Olympic Games.

Jude Jones secured a stunning victory at the Madrid Urban Sports Competition and is now ranked the 29th best freestyle rider in the world.

The 22-year-old rider is now preparing to compete in a World Cup competition in Brussels this weekend, where he hopes to further boost his chances of representing his country at the 2024 Games in Paris.

Jude, who started riding at The Bowl in Little Bowden aged 8, and was crowned national champion last year, spoke to HFM about this weekend’s competition and rising up the ranks:
