Fundraising Drive Launched To Help Market Harborough Schoolboy & His Family

A fundraising drive has been launched to support the family of a Market Harborough schoolboy.

Parents of six-year-old Thomas Brackpool are sure he is autistic, but have been unable to get enough evidence for an NHS referral and diagnosis.

Thomas, from Desborough, suffers frequent ‘melt-downs’ and his family now want to have assessments done privately, in a bid to get the help and support he and they need – but the cost is around £2,000.

A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to raise £500 towards the cost and a sponsored walk will take place this Sunday to support the cause.

Thomas will be joined by family members and friends from Meadowdale Primary School in walking along the Brampton Valley Way.

His Mum Amanda Brackpool spoke to HFM:
