Over 20 Street Parties To Mark King’s Coronation Across Harborough

Over 20 street parties will held across Harborough to celebrate the King’s Coronation.
Residents will get together to mark the historic occasion, including in Wartnaby Street, Ashfield Road, Clarke Street and Tungstone Way in Market Harborough,
The majority of the events are taking place on Sunday, as part of the nationwide ‘Coronation Big Lunch’ initiative.
Over 130 street parties will be held across Leicestershire, after the county council granted road closures for the events and waived the usual application fees.

Saturday 6th May 2023
Wartnaby Street, Market Harborough from the junction with Coventry Road to the junction with Charles Street.
Rose Dale, North Kilworth for its entire length.
Sunday 7th May 2023
Ashfield Road, Market Harborough from the junction with Roman Way to the junction with Kings Head Terrace.
Church Street, Billesdon from the junction with Leicester Road/Market Road for approximately 50 yards.
Church Street, Lutterworth for its entire length.
George Street, Lutterworth from its junction with Church Street to junction with Coventry Road.
Bank Street, Lutterworth for its entire length.
Church Gate, Lutterworth for its entire length.
Clarke Street, Market Harborough from the junction with Highfield Street to the junction with Charles Street.
Cromwell Road, Great Glen from property number 45 to Naseby Way.
Naseby Way, Great Glen from property number 47 to Cromwell Road.
Hall Close, Kibworth from the junction with Merton Way to where the cul-de-sac ends.
High Street, Great Glen from junction with Church Road to the junction with Fordview Close
High Street, Hallaton for its entire length.
Imperial Road, Kibworth Beauchamp from the junction with Beauchamp Road to the junction with Fleckney Road.
