Candidates Announced For Local Elections Across Harborough

The list of candidates for next month’s local elections across Harborough has been published today.
125 candidates will contest seats in 19 wards across the district, with 34 councillor positions up for grabs.
The Conservative party has put forward 31, Liberal Democrats have 34, the Green Party has 30, and Labour has 25.
Reform UK has one candidate, as does the Labour and Co-Operative party and three independents are also standing for election on May 4th.
Parish Council elections will also take place on the same day and for the first time, photo ID will be required for people voting at polling stations.
