Car Flips Onto Side After Crash In Desborough

Firefighters released a driver from a car that flipped onto its side following a crash in Desborough.

Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle collision on Harrington Road, near the junction with Gold Street, just before 4pm yesterday.

Police say the injuries suffered by the man in the car were not serious.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service told HFM: “Crews from Rothwell and across the border in Market Harborough discovered two vehicles had been involved in a road traffic collision and found one car on its side.

“Firefighters released a man from one of the vehicles and left him in the care of paramedics before leaving the scene shortly before 5pm.”
