Holocaust Memorial Day Marked In Market Harborough

The Holocaust Memorial Flag has been raised on top of the Symington Building in Market Harborough on Holocaust Memorial Day.
Events are taking place across the country 78 years since the liberation of Jews from Nazi concentration camp, Auschwitz, where six million people were murdered.
Harborough District Council say lights on the Symington Building and The Square will also glow purple this evening, to send a message ‘to stand against prejudice and hatred’.
