National Highways is trying to reunite a large piece of machinery found by the side of the A14 near Welford with its owner.
It is part of a Kverneland TS-drill, used to cultivate ground and sow seeds and is thought to have fallen off the vehicle it was being transported on.

Officers say it appears undamaged and have removed it from the westbound carriageway for safe keeping.
National Highways route manager Bill Freeman said: “This is a large piece of kit and would presumably be quite expensive to replace.
“The owner may not have realised where they lost the equipment but we are keeping it safe for now and hope they will get in touch to reclaim their property.”
The owner of the machinery is asked to email info@nationalhighways.co.uk, marked for the attention of Bill Freeman, to arrange to collect the item.
