Police searching for a missing man have found a body on land near the village of Gaulby in the north of the Harborough District.
Although formal identification has not yet taken place, officers believe it to be that of 54-year-old Paul Ryan, who was reported missing on December 20th, after last making contact with his family in early November.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner..
Leicestershire Police say specially-trained officers are providing support to Mr Ryan’s family.
