Permission Granted For Next Phases Of ‘Overstone Park’ Estate

The next phases of a new housing estate on the edge of Market Harborough have been approved.

Just over 300 houses will be built at Overstone Park off Kettering Road, 81 of which will be classed as ‘affordable.’

Councillors approved the plans by Davidsons Developments last night, after outline permission for 600 homes on the site was granted in 2018.

A report to the committee said: “The proposal development delivers extensive landscaped open spaces, appropriate housing mix, including affordable housing, a range of high-quality character areas that provide way markers for residents on a large-scale residential development scheme and, as such, an enhanced environment to live and play.”
