Man Admits Discarding Hundreds Of Pornographic Images Around Harborough Villages

A man has admitted deliberately discarding hundreds of pornographic pictures around Harborough villages over a ‘significant period of time’.

Leicestershire Police launched an investigation after complaints from residents, who were left upset and angry after finding the images on A4 paper on country lanes in Billesdon, Hallaton, Mowsley, Tilton on the Hill and Hungarton.

Enquiries, including information from members of the public, led to a 62-year-old man from Oakham being arrested under the ‘Indecent Displays Controls Act 1981’ and admitting he was responsible.

He has been given a conditional caution by officers, which involves assisting with litter picking in the areas he targeted.
