Man Dies After ‘Becoming Unwell While Driving’

A man has died after it’s believed he became unwell while driving in Lutterworth.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance crew, were called to Coventry Road early this afternoon.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told HFM: “Shortly before 1.20pm today (Monday 3 October) police were called by the East Midlands Ambulance Service following concerns for the welfare of a man in a car in Coventry Road, Lutterworth.
“It was reported the man may have become unwell while driving and has collided with another vehicle before coming to a stop.
“Attempts were made at the scene to treat the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
“His death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.”
