Foxes Disappointment

In football, Leicester City are still looking for their first Barclays
Women’s Super League win of the season after a late goal by Everton at
Walton Hall Park on Thursday night (29th September).

For most of the match it looked as if the Foxes might return from
Merseyside with a point – holding the home side nil-nil throughout the
90 minutes.

However, Toffees’ substitute Hanna Bennison found a way through in
stoppage time, helped by Foxes’ goalkeeper Kirstie Levell who pushed the
ball into her own net as it looked to be going wide.

Everton Women 1 – Leicester City Women 0

The Foxes are back in action in the Continental Tyres League Cup at 2
o’clock this Sunday, October 2nd, facing Blackburn Rovers at The Sir Tom
Finney Stadium.
