Kibworth Community Hub Plan Takes Big Step Forward

The plan for a new ‘Community Hub’ in Kibworth has taken big step forward.
Harborough District Council last night granted planning permission for extensions and renovations to Kibworth Grammar School Hall, where it will be created.

The £1m project will see the village library re-locate to the building and extra space for groups to meet.
There are also plans for some NHS outreach services to be provided there.
Funding of around £400,000 has already been secured by Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council towards the cost of the work, through ‘Section 106’ money, provided by developers to improve community facilities.
