Written by on 22nd June 2022

Police were called to a Market Harborough furniture store after a disgruntled customer became aggressive.

Officers attended Furniture Loft after receiving a 999 call this morning.

The company has announced it is to cease trading, leaving some customers without goods they have paid for.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told HFM: “Shortly after 10am today, police were called to premises on the Riverside Industrial Estate, following reports of verbal threats being made by a man.

The man had left the premises prior to police arriving.

“Enquiries into the incident are continuing.”

The company has told customers their orders will not be fulfilled and their only option is to try and claim money back via their bank, if they paid by credit or debit card.
