Customers Face Losing Money As Harborough Furniture Store To Cease Trading
Written by HFM News on 22nd June 2022
A Market Harborough furniture store is to close down leaving customers without orders they have paid for.
Furniture Loft is to cease trading after being open on the Riverside Industrial Estate for the past six years.
Customers who paid for items and awaiting delivery have been told they will not receive them, or get a refund from the company.
The firm is advising those who paid by card to contact their bank, in a bid to get their money back.
Andy Moss from Market Harborough paid £1,200 for furniture three months ago and was told it would be delivered three weeks later.
He has never received it and will now have to try and claim a refund via his bank:

It is understood employees at Furniture Loft face being made redundant and liquidators are to be appointed in due course.
Maxine Barrie from Rothwell paid £1,300 for ten dining room chairs in April and they have never been delivered:
Furniture Loft had planned to move business entirely on-line, after announcing in March it would be closing its showroom this year.
The company has been approached for comment after HFM visited the premises yesterday.
Police were called to the premises earlier today:
