Harborough Couple’s Photography Depicts ‘Growing Old Playfully’

Written by on 13th June 2022

A Market Harborough couple’s unique photography project is depicting growing old in a light-hearted way.

It is the culmination of 14 years work by Roger and Daniele Bradley, who used masks and play-acting to create the 55 shots.

Entitled ‘Growing Old Playfully,’ the photos have been blown up and are being displayed in an exhibition at Leicester Adult Education College until the end of June.

The idea for the project came about when Daniele spotted a mask during a visit to Woolworths in Market Harborough, when the store was open on The Square.

The photos have been taken locally and in other parts of the world.

Roger explained more to HFM’s Nick Shaw:

Visit the exhibiton at Leicester Adult Education College Basement Gallery, 52-54 Belvoir Street, Leicester until June 27th 2022.
