Harborough’s First Ever Walking Festival Launches

Harborough’s first ever Walking Festival has begun today.
Seven organised walks are taking place over the next four days in and around villages across the District.
As well as enjoying the countryside, they’ll also be the chance for people going along to delve into local history.
Whether you’re a seasoned hiker, power walker or prefer a gentle amble, organisers say there is something for everyone.
James Carpenter, a blue-badge tourist guide, has organised the festival with George Keeping.
