Man Seriously Assaulted In Market Harborough Now In ‘Stable’ Condition

Police say the condition of a man seriously injured during a fight in Market Harborough town centre has improved.
The 36-year-old is now in a ‘stable’ condition in hospital after the incident on the High Street during the early hours of Sunday.
A man aged 22, who was arrested and questioned yesterday on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
Both the victim and the man questioned are from the Market Harborough area.
Officers are continuing to appeal for information and witnesses, and are urging anyone who can help their investigation to contact them on 101, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
