Man Jailed For Damaging Shop Window In Market Harborough

A man who damaged the window of a Market Harborough shop has been jailed for two months.

Thomas Gaffney has also been ordered to pay £200 compensation to Savers on the High Street, after causing the damage last Friday night.

Police were alerted at 11.30pm and the 47-year-old was arrested near-by.

Gaffney, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to criminal damage.

A custodial sentence was imposed by Magistates’ in Leicester, as by committing the offence he breached a community order, imposed earlier this year for other offences.
