Jane To Celebrate Birthday With Marathon Fundraising Challenge

A South Leicestershire charity worker is preparing to run a marathon with a difference on her Birthday.
Jane Holden, from Rolleston near Billesdon, will be running one mile, every hour, for 26 hours tomorrow.
She hopes to raise £2,500 in sponsorship to improve cooking facilities at the school her charity runs in Haiti, where a quarter of the population live in extreme poverty.

Jane set-up the Andrew Green Foundation after the devastating earthquake in the Caribbean country in 2010, which killed 300,000 people and left over two million homeless.
