Leisure Centre Re-Opens After High Winds Cause ‘Significant Damage’ To Roof

Desborough Leisure Centre has re-opened today after ‘significant damage’ was caused to the roof during the high winds.
The facility had been closed since Friday, so the area could be made safe and repair work started.
Some outside areas remain cordoned off.
A spokesperson for the centre said: “In the interests of safety, the 3G pitch will remain closed for the time being, along with a section of the pathway near to the BMX track.
“Please read and follow all safety instructions around the outside areas of the building where applicable.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
