Vehicle Collides With New A6 Roundabout

A vehicle has collided with a new roundabout on the A6 near Market Harborough, just a week after it opened to traffic.

The pick-up truck crashed into signs and came to rest up a bank in the early hours of Saturday.

Police were alerted to the incident just after 2am and say the driver was not injured and no other vehicles were involved.

The roundabout, at the junction with Kettering Road at Clack Hill, was installed in a bid to improve road safety, following a number of collisions at the previous junction.
