‘Christmas Presence’ Campaign Launches Across Harborough

A campaign has been launched in a bid to keep people across Harborough safe during the festive season.

It includes encouraging people to make plans on how they are getting home after a night out and tips to avoid falling victim to crime when out shopping.

The Harborough Community Safety Partnership’s ‘Christmas Presence’ campaign is being backed by Police.

Sergeant Pete Jelbert says often pickpockets try to take advantage of busy shops and Police patrols will be stepped up during the day and in the evening:
