Written by on 28th July 2021

Police have spoken to a number of teenage girls who risked their lives by playing ‘chicken’ on the railway line in Kibworth earlier this month.

Officers from the Leicestershire force identified them and worked with the British Transport Police to speak to them formally – although have not revealed if any criminal action has been taken.

Witnesses saw some of the group cross the tracks near Warwick Park just before a train passed while others filmed on their mobile phones.

Young female teenagers were seen playing chicken at the tin bridge in Kibworth.
