Stab Victim Discharged From Hosptial

A young man stabbed in Market Harborough last night has been discharged from hospital.

The 21-year-old was taken to University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire by Air Ambulance and treated for what Police describe as ‘superficial injuries’.

He was found with stab wounds in the Sainsbury’s car park at 9.20pm, but officers believe he was attacked in the Britannia Walk area shortly before.

No arrests have been made and Police say enquiries are continuing.

Part of the Sainsbury’s car park and Britannia Walk were cordoned off for forensic examination.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or knows anything about the circumstances leading up to it, to contact them on 101, quoting incident 662 of 12 June.
