Two People Arrested After Stabbing In Market Harborough

Police have arrested two people after a 21-year-old man was stabbed in Market Harborough last night.
A man aged 18 and a boy aged 16, both from Northamptonshire, are being held on suspicion of Section 18 Wounding With Intent.
Police believe the victim was attacked in the Brittannia Walk area at around 9pm, before being found in the Sainsbury’s Car Park shortly afterwards.
He was taken to hospital by Air Ambulance to be treated for what officers describe as ‘superficial wounds,’ before being discharged.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “The investigation continues and officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
Officers are also appealing to anyone who captured footage of the incident on their phones or on video recording equipment to contact them.
