Harborough First-Aider Launches Fundraiser For Defibrillator
Written by HFM News on 12th May 2021
A Market Harborough first-aider who dedicates much of his spare to time to helping others has launched a fundraising drive to buy a defibrillator.
St John Ambulance volunteer Jack Hood-Deeks works in the town centre on Friday and Saturday evenings and also provides assistance to East Midlands Ambulance Service, by responding to life-threatening calls, like cardiac arrests.
The 21-year-old former Robert Smyth Academy student, who is training to become a paramedic, is hoping to raise £1,000, so he can carry the vital piece of equipment with him.
