An investigation is underway after a major fire destroyed the clubhouse at Lutterworth Golf Club.
Eight fire crews battled the blaze after it broke out at the large building off Rugby Road just after 10pm last night.
The single-storey building has been left completely destroyed – no one injured.
To complicate the firefighting operation, there were some propane cylinders on the site that posed a danger to firefighters.
Crews remain at the scene damping down and work is taking place in a bid to determine what started the fire.
Police are also in attendance.
The course and club are closed until further notice.
Firefighters still at the scene of Lutterworth Golf Club fire on Sunday morning.
