Vandals have ripped lit bollards out of the ground at a park in Little Bowden.
Around ten have been damaged alongside the footpath through Bellfields Recreation Ground off Glebe Road, leaving wires exposed.
The vandalism has taken place over recent weeks and Harborough District Council has pledged to replace the bollards as soon as possible.
A spokesman told Hfm: “Unfortunately, these bollards have been vandalised. Our contractor has made them safe and we are looking to replace them as soon as possible.
“We would appeal to anyone with information about this incident to contact police.”
