Prankster Who Unplugged Traffic Lights Caught On Camera

A prankster who unplugged traffic lights in Little Bowden was filmed on CCTV.
The footage has been handed to Police, after the temporary signals by the railway bridge on Kettering Road were disconnected early on Saturday.
Highway bosses say the person responsible, who had to scale a eight-foot high pole, put people in danger.
Harborough County Councillor Sarah Hill told Hfm they were probably unaware they were being watched by the camera within the traffic lights:
A spokesperson for Leicestershire County Council told Hfm: “Unfortunately over the weekend temporary traffic lights on Kettering Road, Market Harborough lost power.
“As soon as we were alerted to this the traffic lights were reinstated by Highways crews.
“CCTV from the traffic lights does indicate that the lights were tampered with.
“Incidents like this are frustrating and put motorists and pedestrians in danger.”
