Harborough Pauses To Remember Lives Lost To Covid

Written by on 23rd March 2021

People have paused to observe a one minute’s silence in Market Harborough, to remember all those who have lost their lives to Coronavirus.

The silence at midday was followed by the tolling of a bell 165 times at St Dionysius Church and other across the area, to mark each person from the Harborough District who has died from Covid-19.

It’s exactly a year since the Prime Minister first imposed a coronavirus lockdown, with the National Day of Reflection also honouring people who have gone over and above to help others.
